Bank of Singapore hires Penny Low from Deutsche Bank WM

Penny Low is part of Bank of Singapore’s Greater China and North Asia team.

Penny Low has joined Bank of Singapore as a senior relationship manager. Based in Singapore, she is part of the Greater China & North Asia (GCNA) team, led by Eng Chien Chan, market group head for GCNA.

Low has close to two decades of industry experience across investment banking and private banking. Prior to joining Bank of Singapore, she was a senior relationship manager at Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, where she advised ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals and entrepreneurs on their personal wealth and corporate needs. Before Deutsche Bank, she spent nine years at Credit Suisse Global Markets in the multi-asset solutions team.

Her cross divisional experience and deep client relationships will support Bank of Singapore’s ambition to grow its AUM from the UHNW segment by 30% by 2028, according to a statement by the bank.

The private banking heads for Asean, Vi Sun Yang, Greater China & North Asia, Rickie Chan and Middle East, South Asia & International Lim Leong Guan are leading efforts to accelerate UHNW growth in their respective markets and client segments.

“Low’s appointment reflects the bank’s continued investment in strengthening its GCNA franchise and accelerating growth and advancing its key strategic priorities. Over the past year, the bank has further enhanced its leadership bench and relationship manager team across both Singapore and Hong Kong,” said the statement.
