Yvonne Leung leaves JP Morgan Private Bank for HSBC Asset Management.

Yvonne Leung has rejoined HSBC after more than two decades, stepping into the role of head of multi-asset specialist, Asia, within asset management.
The former JP Morgan private banker and fund selector posted on LinkedIn: “I look forward to working alongside one of the largest and most accomplished multi-asset teams in the region, and, under Yigit Onat’s leadership, I’m confident we will further expand our footprint across Asia.
Leung (pictured) had worked at JP Morgan for almost 10 years and spent more than six years at Goldman Sachs. She worked at HSBC Private Bank between 2004 and 2010.
In a post on LinkedIn she wrote: ” Geopolitical shocks make diversification non-negotiable. Investors should broaden portfolios by treating Asian equities and gold as complementary diversifiers—one for growth, the other for resilience.
“While Asian equities offer compelling valuations and strong earnings growth, gold continues to prove resilient during geopolitical stress, making both essential pillars of a diversified portfolio.”
