Schroders builds out wealth team with hiring of family office veteran
Schroders Wealth Management has hired Sharon Sim as head of business development, Asia.
Low will be joining the Swiss private bank from Indosuez Wealth Management, where he was head of North Asia.

Lombard Odier has appointed Alfred Low as head of North Asia markets and CEO of Hong Kong effective 1 September, according to a statement from the firm.
Low (main picture) will oversee the development of the bank’s North Asia private clients division across Hong Kong and Singapore, subject to regulatory approval.
Low will be joining the firm from Indosuez Wealth Management, where he was head of North Asia. Prior to that he was market head for greater China at HSBC Private Banking.
He will be based in Singapore before relocating to Hong Kong in the coming months, reporting to Omar Shokur, regional head for Asia, private clients.
Last month, Lombard Odier also hired ex-Julius Baer managing director Pei Pei Chern as a senior relationship manager based in Singapore.
Reporting to Low, she will focus on deepening long-term client relationships in the region, with a particular focus on Taiwan.
Lombard Odier also hired Andrea Meierhofer, Southeast Asia market head, private clients in December last year.
Commenting on the appointments, Shokur said: “We are delighted to welcome Alfred and Pei Pei to the team as we continue to invest in top talent across Asia.”
“Together with Andrea, these appointments reinforce our leadership capabilities and long-term commitment to the region.”
