William Blair Investment Management has appointed Chandan Khanna as co-portfolio manager.

Keenai, a wealthtech platform for accredited investors built in partnership with Lighthouse Canton, has appointed Varun Mittal as country head, Singapore, before the launch of Keenai Wealth on 19 August and a wider push into Southeast Asia.
In the role, Mittal will lead Keenai’s introduction to Singapore and across the region, overseeing distribution, partnerships and client acquisition as the platform opens to a broader base of accredited investors. All major asset class, from bonds and hedge funds to structured notes, will be brought into a single account, backed by Lighthouse Canton’s institutional infrastructure.
Keenai is a wealthtech platform for accredited investors, built in partnership with Lighthouse Canton. Regulated financial services are provided by Lighthouse Canton Pte Ltd, which is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Lighthouse Canton is an independent global investment institution focused on the Asia diaspora, with reach across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Mittal has more than two decades in financial services across Southeast Asia. He was most recently chief digital and innovation officer at Singlife. Earlier, he was the first marketing and sales hire at helloPay, the region’s first pan Asean digital wallet. He also led EY’s global emerging-markets fintech practice across 130 countries, and has been named twice to the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Top 10 FinTech Leaders list.
Mittal is also the founder of Fintech Nation, a Singapore-based ecosystem platform spanning a book series, an investment fund and a mentorship initiative, and a co-founder of the Singapore FinTech Association. He co-wrote “Singapore: The Fintech Nation” and “The Fintech Nation: Excellence Unlocked in Singapore”, charting the rise of Singapore’s fintech ecosystem.
Based in Singapore, Ng joins the client coverage team and reports to Jose Cosio, head of intermediary, EMEA, LatAm and Apac.
