UBS GWM launches EAM access fund programme for clients in Asia

The programme provides access to institutional quality investment opportunities through a selection of high-performing funds.

UBS Global Wealth Management (GWM) has announced the launch of its exclusive manager access fund programme, a first-of-its-kind offering in Asia that provides clients with access to a universe of leading global investment managers and exclusive investment opportunities not widely available to the broader wealth management market.

Designed exclusively for UBS GWM clients, the programme provides access to institutional quality investment opportunities through a selection of high-performing funds. Using UBS’s global investment platform, manager relationships and due diligence expertise, the platform connects clients to leading fund managers worldwide, including managers with limited or no presence in Asia.

All strategies featured on the platform are exclusive to UBS GWM clients only.  The programme is first launched in Hong Kong and Singapore, and will be expanded to Taiwan.

Solita Marcelli, global head of investment management, UBS Global Wealth Management, said: “Through close collaboration across regions, we were able to develop a distinctive offering tailored to the unique needs of clients in APAC.”

Jansen Phee, APAC head fund investment solutions, UBS Global Wealth Management, added: “With this program[me] we are redefining the way the funds business is conducted in the wealth management industry by giving clients access to a carefully curated universe of high-performing managers and investment opportunities available exclusively through this program, and combining institutional-levels of portfolio transparency and performance analytics.”

The programme launches with a group of fund managers such as DoubleLine, Acadian Asset Management, Wellington Management, and Tenbagger Capital. Some of the offerings within the programme are co-created by UBS with the managers and are exclusive to UBS in Asia. The programme will expand over time with the addition of other high-quality managers and investment strategies.

Beyond access to leading fund managers, the programme offers an enhanced level of portfolio transparency and performance analytics. Upon request, clients can receive institutional-grade reporting that includes consolidated performance attribution, detailed risk analytics and comprehensive portfolio insights.

It also provides enhanced visibility into the underlying drivers of portfolio performance through detailed look-through analysis of individual fund asset allocations. Clients gain a clearer understanding of what is powering returns across holdings, enabling more effective portfolio monitoring and decision-making.

In addition, UBS clients will benefit from in-depth portfolio commentaries, detailed risk assessments and performance analytics that go beyond conventional fund factsheets.

These insights are designed to help clients better evaluate opportunities, understand portfolio exposures and navigate changing market environments with greater confidence.
