Deutsche Bank Private Bank has added to its the investment management FX advisory (FXA) to strengthen its platform for private bank clients in Singapore and Hong Kong.

“We used recent changes in Hong Kong as an opportunity to reassess our FX Advisory coverage and identify opportunities to deepen bench strength. The outcome is a refreshed structure and a new set of senior appointments that materially enhance our depth of expertise, execution capability, and advisory across regions,” noted Gian Maria Piccolo, head of investment management, emerging markets at Deutsche Bank Private Bank, in an internal memo.

Kent Lee (pictured), based in Hong Kong and who re-joined Deutsche Bank in April, is appointed co‑head of FX advisory, alongside Divik Maheshwari. They both report directly to Piccolo and share the full responsibility of the FXA business across Hong Kong and Singapore, respectively.

“As co-heads, Divik and Kent will lead the EM FX advisory platform with a clear mandate to raise advisory standards, sharpen risk discipline, and further enhance the sophistication of FX solutions delivered to clients,” Piccolo noted.

New hires include Dawn Chong, who has joined today as a director. She previously worked at private banking platforms including Standard Chartered, Bank of Singapore, Barclays, and Credit Suisse.

Meanwhile, Jet Chan, vice president, will join on 20 July and add to the team’s technical capabilities in FX options, forwards, and volatility strategies, spanning both G10 and emerging markets
