Chubb Wealth and Hamilton Lane partner for private evergreen funds

The partnership will see Hamilton Lane funds available on the Chubb Wealth platform for eligible Hong Kong investors.

Chubb Wealth has announced a partnership with private markets investment firm Hamilton Lane to bring evergreen funds to eligible professional investors in Hong Kong.

Some of the funds will include global private assets, private infrastructure, as well as venture and growth opportunities, set to be available on Chubb Wealth’s platform.

The firms said they aim to provide a more streamlined way to access private markets as more investors look towards alternatives as sources of growth and diversification.

Ben Rudd, general manager of Chubb Wealth, said: “High-growth, pre-IPO companies represent a vital private asset class that has historically represented a significant source of portfolio diversification and growth potential, yet has remained out of reach for most individual investors.”

“As disruptive technology and structural themes such as AI, data infrastructure and biotech continue to reshape the global economy, access to the companies driving this transformation has become an increasingly important consideration for long-term portfolios.”

“Through our partnership with Hamilton Lane, we are able to offer our clients exposure to a range of high-growth private companies, providing a direct and disciplined alternative to concentrated public markets.”

Sungji An, head of APAC client solutions at Hamilton Lane, said: “This partnership marks an important step in expanding access to Hamilton Lane’s institutional-quality private markets solutions for eligible professional investors in Hong Kong through a streamlined platform.”

“We have seen interest from these investors in accessing diversified private markets opportunities, and are happy to be partnering with Chubb Wealth to deliver this offering.”

Hamilton lane’s evergreen offerings have $20bn in assets under management across 12 funds, and manages $146bn in discretionary assets and $914bn in non-discretionary assets globally.
