As a part of its plan to grow its business in Southeast Asia, UBS Global Wealth Management (GWM) has hired Maria Quintos as senior client advisor in its Thailand team.

Quintos will be located in Singapore focusing on ultra high net worth relationships.

Prior to joining UBS, Quintos was the president and chief executive officer of Maybank ATR Kim Eng Capital Partners. She also has experience in serving high net worth clients, institutions and pension funds at Bank of Singapore in Manila.

Meanwhile, Nicolo Nicandro and Natalie Boey have joined the UBS Philippines team as client advisers.

It is an important boost for the firm as it looks to bring its global offering to clients in the region, including all dimensions of wealth from investments, to business, to passion and legacy matters.

The duo will also be based in Singapore.

Nicandro was previously senior associate, investment counsellor at Bank of Singapore in Manila, where he managed global multi-asset portfolios of private clients. Boey was at a similar role previously with Citi Singapore for almost 15 years.

The three new additions will report directly to Robert Rohner, market team head for UBS in the Philippines.
