Capital Group appoints Hong Kong intermediaries head 

Angela Jin joined the group from Pimco.

Capital Group announced that it has hired Angela Jin as the head of financial intermediaries in Hong Kong. 

Based in Hong Kong, Jin will be responsible for the local financial intermediary sales team and will help drive the company’s distribution strategy and strengthen existing relationships with the firm’s clients in this newly created role. 

Jin will report to Toby Chan, head of the client group for Hong Kong and Greater China.

Before joining Capital Group, Jin held various roles in the banking and finance industry. She was most recently the head of private banking at Pimco, where she spent eight years building the firm’s wealth management business in north Asia. 

She led MSCI’s ESG business with institutional clients for the Asia ex-Japan region prior to Pimco.
