Based in Singapore, Yee will report to Alexis Fosler, regional manager for Asia at Allfunds.

Before Allfunds, Yee spent three years as a chief operating officer and chief investment officer at Singapore-based Malaysian family office JRT Partners, where he led the investment strategy and due diligence at the firm, according to an Allfunds statement.

Yee was also director and head of Asia (ex-Japan and Korea) at Moore Management and was a senior vice president for alternatives for Asia-Pacific at Citi Global Wealth Management.

“This hire will further boslter Allfunds’ presence in Asia and allow us to provide tailored advice and enhanced services for our clients,” Fosler said in the statement.

The appointment of Yee follows the hire of Vinita Baldani, who joined Allfunds earlier this year as head of the funds group for Asia. Before Allfunds, she was head of fund selection at Aviva’s Navigator, an IFA-focused platform in Singapore.

At the time of Baldani’s appointment, the firm also made two other senior hires: Oliver Stewart-Malir as chief operating officer for Asia, and Edwin Tan as head of client services for Asia.

Fosler previously told FSA that Allfunds is expanding its investment advisory and portfolio solutions capabilities in Singapore. The unit provides services such as due diligence and fund selection.

At the time, the firm had 12 people for other businesses, including fund execution, custody and administration services. Allfunds first set up an Asia office in Singapore in 2016.

Its investment services team has around 25 people based in Europe, servicing clients globally. Around 64,400 funds managed from 1,200 managers are on its platform, according to the statement.
